Vegan pasties with leftover chilliI love using up leftovers to cook easy but tasty food. I enjoy the feeling of not wasting food but creating something new for the next day dinner. How to make the Vegan Pasties with Leftover Chilli
  1. Get your leftover chilli and a sheet of puff pastry ready and preheat the oven to 200°C! Roll out the pastry on a floured table and cut some circle shapes. I used a cereal bowl to mark circles and trace with a knife to cut. Put the cut out circles on the side and get the excess pieces together, roll out and cut more circle shapes. Repeat until you have no more pastry dough left.
  2. Put about 2 tbsp of the chilli on half side of a pastry then fold over the other half to cover the chilli filling. Press the edge with a folk to seal the opening. Repeat the step to make 6 more pasties! You can make 3 or 4 bigger pasties instead of making 7 small pasties if you prefer.
  3. Place the pasties on a baking tray lined with baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until top is slightly golden.

We had these pasties with some salsa sauce, which was really nice. But the pasties taste delicious without any sauce as well!
